Coaching
Coaches Workshop will be conducted at Curl Curl by MWNA on Sunday 17 March 2024. Coaches will need to attend the theory session before they can attend the practical session.

One of the more rewarding ways to get involved in netball is to coach. Our coaches are supported by our club Coaching Convenor and there are many training opportunities to further your skills and development. The online Foundation Course is targeted primarily at beginner coaches, teachers, parents and NetSetGo coaches and outlines introductory coaching information and basic netball techniques. The course is the first step in the National Coaching Accreditation Framework and is an important step along the knowledge pathway for a coach. The course contains the following four modules: The role of the coach, Planning, Teaching netball skills, The coach in action.

The Development Course is a minimum requirement to coach at State Age. MWNA will be running a course on Sunday 24 March 2024 to make sure all Rep coaches have a minimum Development Accreditation. It is a Netball Australia requirement that all coaches must be registered members of their club/association for their accreditation to be processed.
